Freelance Senior Project Manager ICT Risk Management / DORA (ZZP)

The adoption of the Digital Operational Resilience Act (DORA) is a cornerstone in Europe’s digital finance strategy. The main aim of DORA is to prevent and mitigate cyber threats for financial entities by strengthening the IT security through a sounds ICT risk management framework. DORA sets uniform requirements for the security of network and information systems of financial entities and their critical third-party service providers. For our procurement workstream ' contract remediation' with regards to ICT critical third-party service providers, we are looking for a senior project manager for at least the rest of 2024 - with the possibilty to extend the assignment further into 2025.

Activities include:

• Planning + priority setting​

• Support refinement implementation plans​

• Insight & oversight workstream​

• Coordinate & align dependencies with other workstreams​

• Stakeholder Management​

• Project Team Management​

• Monitor progress, performance and milestones​

• Report to Program Management​

• Create workstream roadmap & milestones

With the following results:

• Final refined implementation plans, aligned and approved by stakeholders, for the contract remediation scope

• A roadmap and milestones created and managed for the workstream

• Dependencies aligned and managed between the different workstreams and other parts of the organisation

• Insight & oversight of the workstream progress and performance

• Senior stakeholders are managed and aligned with the worksteam progress and priorities

• The project team is managed in their day-to-day execution of activities, always knowing what is expected of them and when

Relevant knowledge skills & competences:

• 10+ years experience in project management in large organisations (Preferably at a bank or financial organization)

• Project management certifcation

• Experience in managing senior stakeholders

• Experience in roadmap & milestone creation, managing changes to project scope

• Preferably experience in or knowledge of: procurement, legal, contract remediation and or regulatory change execution
