Introduction to the job

The Risk & Business Assurance (RBA) department provides an integrated risk management methodology and enables ASML and its business lines, sectors and countries to carry their accountability and responsibility, to be in control through proactive identification, assessment, prioritization, treatment and monitoring of key risks. RBA focuses on all relevant risk areas, including Security, Compliance and Business Continuity.

RBA is initiating several larger programs in the main risk areas and therefore we are looking for strong senior project and program managers to initiate, oversee and drive all activities across the company that roll up into the agreed program.

In this position, you will lead complex, impactful ,and multi-stream projects covering related competence domains or technical areas. Projects typically involve more than one sector, and require good understanding of the business and interdependencies of the sectors. Project timeline is 1-2 years ahead, with the total resources of 5 to 10 FTE. You will manage the relation with multiple (groups of) stakeholders on tactical/strategic level.

Role and responsibilitiesProject Management Strategy and Methodology

Have extensive experience with the Project Management Methodology, project reporting, risk analysis and using ASML's project management tools. Ensure application and adhere to PPM standards and methodologies.

Project Scope Definition

Plan and lead the delivery of a range of information gathering, analysis, and stakeholder consultation activities. Specify, negotiate, and agree on project deliverables.

Business Needs / Improvements

Plan and coordinate the identification, elicitation of requirements; conduct analysis of those requirements for completion and alignment; document and manage requirements throughout the life of the project; and coordinate the verification of the end deliverable. Build and review improvement solutions and develops recommendations for implementation of those improvements. Generally done at the project level.

Project Planning / Roadmap

Oversee the production of and approves project plans, ensuring that all activities are identified, appropriately organized to deliver program and project objectives, comply with the organization's project and program management framework, and comply with the organization's wider governance structure and processes.

Project Team Management

Lead large project and program teams (or multiple small to medium teams); define the project/program vision and communicates the outcomes needed along with guidance to achieve outcome, manage resources across projects/programs; negotiate flow of additional team members on and off the team as needed; and build the capability of the team through training, coaching and mentoring.

Project Resource Management

Negotiate and manage deployment of project resource budgets, providing forecasts and presenting variances with narrative at appropriate review points to ensure effective utilization.

Education and Experience

You have extensive general work experience with substantial experience in project management in different environments/businesses. You have expert process and organizational knowledge to make (process) decisions on critical moments in the project. You have led large company-wide projects in technical industrial cross-cultural environment. You are able to motivate and lead large teams through complex assignments. You are used to communicate well at all required levels from technical operational to senior company management.
