Team Lead Assurance PM&IA
For the Performance Management & Intelligent Automation domain within the Assurance department, we are looking for a Team Lead with strong management skills to bring this domain into the future. This position requires a certain degree of versatility since the responsibilities include leadership, HR, financial planning, managing three Agile teams using a Scrum way-of-working and the automation of Assurance (RMO and SRMO) processes.

From a service-oriented organization, the unit is responsible for creating E2E process/chain automation solutions to achieve our strategic objectives. In addition, Network Services is the place where we further develop critical platform services such as Voice and Messaging.
Introduction, KPN's 'shift-left' ambition calls for far-reaching automation of our operational Assurance processes. In the 2027 strategy, the Autonomous Operations program has been launched to use data-driven solutions to realize a significant cost reduction and an increased NPS.
The goal is threefold:
Preventing service disruptions and performance degradations through the use of Artificial Intelligence (Anomaly Detection)
Proactively inform customers in case of service impact
Restoring the service in near real-time by using closed loop automation.
As a Team Lead, you lead the domain Performance Management & Intelligent Automation domain that plays an important role in this ambition, as part of the Assurance department of the Network Services unit.
How?
As the designated leader for this multifaceted role, you will be leading three teams operating within a DevOps framework utilizing the Scrum methodology. Your primary focus will be to foster a culture of collaboration, efficiency, and continuous improvement within these teams, ensuring they deliver high-quality results in a timely manner. Your responsibilities extend beyond team leadership. You will also be entrusted with HR responsibilities for these teams, guiding and nurturing team members to reach their full potential and creating a supportive work environment. In addition to team management, you will play a crucial role in automating our Assurance processes and enhancing overall efficiency. Your experience in project management will be instrumental in overseeing various initiatives and to ensure they are executed within set timelines. You will also be involved in defining a long-term vision for the teams under your responsibility together with the architect and designers, to stay ahead in a rapidly evolving business and IT landscape. Your success in this role will depend on your ability to motivate teams, your strategic vision, and your adeptness at navigating complex projects while keeping an eye on long-term objectives.

The Performance Management & Intelligent Automation domain is responsible for monitoring and optimizing the performance of the network and plays an important role in this ambition by the identification, isolation, and remediation of anomalies in the network through Test & Diagnosis, Service Monitoring and Reporting solutions. Specific ambitions and challenges are the realisation of far-reaching process automation for L1 and L2 processes and the expansion of Intelligent Automation features to realise closed loop automation. In addition, specific monitoring needs related to network and service capacity and performance must be fulfilled to feed and support the Assurance process.
Where?
We follow a hybrid model, where we work partially from home and around 40% at our office in Zoetermeer.
Your role
As the lead of this domain, you will be working within the Assurance department. You will be closely cooperating with colleagues inside and outside of the unit.
· You lead multi-disciplinary DevOps IT teams consisting of experts with different personalities and nationalities in a Product Owner role, using the Scrum methodology
· You drive the automation of Assurance processes and form the future IT landscape of KPN
· You make sure that employees are motivated in the work that they do and provide support and guidance when necessary
· You take responsbility for defining a long term vision and strategy together with experts from the domain and the teams
· You handle the financial planning (both CAPEX and OPEX) and manage the required IT capacity of the domain
· You are a skilled communicator and are able to influence and convince
· You report on progress to managers, projectmanagers and stakeholders
· You reach results by taking responsibility and making decisions
· You are a pragmatist and understand the interests of offering services
You will be reporting to the Manager Assurance, responsible for the Assurance department.

We are looking for the following knowledge: Intellectual rigor and critical thinking skills are important for this role, emphasizing the ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical situations
· Professional knowledge of telecommunications or IT, preferably within the Assurance domain or related field.
· Knowledge of business administration, business organization and process design.
· Knowledge of and affinity with financial planning and management.
· Knowledge of networks and IT chains for Assurance or similar telecommunications processes
· Chain management and RMO/SRMO
· Extensive experience in managing Agile teams with a Scrum method
· Experience with managing employees and HR
