Freelance Senior Analytics Engineer (ZZP)

For our client, Bol., we are looking for an experienced and independent Senior Analytics Engineer for a three-month contract.

You will join the Analytics Engineering team, consisting of 15 engineers, to support a critical acceleration of our data infrastructure and metric standardization efforts. Your focus will be on the Partner Journey domain, where you will translate business logic into clear, scalable data products that inform product managers and drive strategic decisions.

We are specifically looking for a senior professional who can hit the ground running and work autonomously to deliver immediate value.

What you'll do:

• Design, build, and maintain robust and scalable data models using dbt.

• Collaborate closely with data stewards, data analysts, and product managers to align on clear and accurate metric definitions.

• Contribute to the development of reliable, well-documented, and scalable data pipelines using Airflow and BigQuery.

• Translate complex business requirements into tangible technical solutions that provide actionable insights for the product teams.

Requirements:

• You are a Senior Analytics Engineer with a proven track record in a data-intensive environment, preferred in analytics/data engineering roles

• You are a self-starter who can operate with a high degree of autonomy and require minimal guidance to achieve results.

• You have deep, hands-on experience with the following technologies:

  • dbt (must-have)

  • Google BigQuery (must-have)

  • Airflow (must-have)

  • Git (must-have)

• You possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• You have professional fluency in English (written and verbal).
