Freelance Product & Channel Marketing Manager (ZZP)
As a Product & Channel Marketing Manager, you are the driving force behind a lighting category. You will be responsible for further building the Philips brand and making the transformation from conventional to LED lighting. You’ll launch new product innovations and will be responsible for guiding the team in the process. Next tot that you will be responsible for the execution of marketing plans at our Benelux retailers. You will be involved in the creation of shelf visions and the implementation of new product innovations, activations on the shopfloor and at their online web shops and the analysis of promotions.
What you’ll do
Develop local category vision and marketing plan to set go-to-market direction for all commercial- and marketing teams
Develop and own the Market Activation Plan for both brand campaigns and new products (Co-ordinate and guide the marketing communications and digital team)
Manage the market introduction and support market activation of new products (incl. information- and data deployment)
Leverage competitor benchmarks and ensure customers’ needs are captured by new product development and product improvement process
Accountable for all channel marketing activities at various retailers in the Benelux.
Lead the shelf vision creation for the different retailers and create instore point-of-sale (POS) material to support the new shelf vision.
Set up promotions at retailers for Philips LED, Philips Smart LED & WiZ. Assure flawless promotional execution regarding instore exposure and online activation.
Joint responsibility for Market Share development, topline and profitability.
Requirements
Masters degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field.
3+ years of experience, involving product, brand and/or channel marketing responsibilities.
Ability to develop and execute marketing strategies that align with business objectives.
Understanding of product development processes and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g. product management, sales, engineering).
Experience conducting market research and analysis to adapt product positioning and communication messaging.
Experience with digital marketing channels and techniques (e.g. email, social media, SEO)
Excellent analytical skills and ability to measure the success of marketing campaigns and/or programs.
Strong project management skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external partners.
Knowledge of the industry and market trends, with the ability to adapt channel marketing strategies accordingly.
