Your challenge

Working internationally is becoming increasingly important within Vanderlande. We are actively involved in more than 200 projects in 105 countries, in which the Dutch office represents the largest group of employees.

Of course we want to pay our colleagues all over the world their salaries on time, arrange social insurance and pensions for them, and ensure timely and correct processing in our accounts. Our FSSC Payroll EMEA team in Veghel is responsible for all these tasks for various countries. Within this team, we are looking for a Payroll Officer for the Dutch payroll.

In this role, you will be responsible for:

• The payroll for The Netherlands (appr. 2700 employees– and counting).

• Processing changes in employee (salary) data.

• Processing Long Term Assignments and Short Term Assignments (LTA & STA) for our internationally deployed employees.

• Implement improvements Journal entries

• Reconciliation with Workday and financial accounts

• Manage relationships with various internal and external stakeholders (HR, Finance, government, insurers etc.)

Your department

FSSC Payroll EMEA is a department within the Financial Shared Service Center (FSSC) and a major area of Business Support within Vanderlande. The Department is responsible for worldwide employee administration and manages the payroll for Vanderlande's operating subsidiaries in multiple EMEA countries.

The Veghel based Payroll department currently manages the payroll for 15 countries. There is a high degree of collaboration between the various departments within FSSC and with HR, and significant interaction with the business.

Your profile

Besides your enthusiasm, team player mentality and motivation, we are looking for:

• Bachelor degree in HR, Business Administration or Accounting

• 5+ years of relevant Payroll experience in a professional environment PDL diploma is a must, VPS is a plus

• Excellent communication skills

• Fluency in English and Dutch, other languages are a big plus

• Demonstrable affinity with payroll mattersand financial accounting.

• Affinity with digitization and automation ofprocesses.

• Interested in processing foreign payrolls in the future
