Do you want to make a global impact on the marketing strategy of a world-class brand? This is your opportunity as a Global Category Manager at Heineken to streamline and innovate the creative and production procurement (ATL) for international campaigns. You are the expert who elevates our Marketing Procurement to a higher level and truly realizes progress. 



Your role is focused on maximizing ATL category effectiveness. You focus on managing strategic creative agencies and production partners worldwide. You contribute directly to reducing non-working spend while simultaneously boosting the quality, speed, and creativity of advertising production. By translating external insights into best-in-class procurement strategies, you are the driving force behind change. 



What you will realize as a Global Category Manager: 


  • You operate as the expert and specialist in ATL, providing professional support to Procurement, OpCo, Regional, and Head Office teams. 

  • You will broaden your expertise within Marketing Procurement beyond the ATL Creative and Production categories. 

  • You lead competitive supplier selections, tendering processes, and selection decisions to guarantee the most effective outcomes for all category deals. 

  • You develop and manage relationships with strategic suppliers, oversee their performance evaluations, and ensure the successful delivery of results. 

  • You ensure strategic alignment of marketing procurement with the global and regional teams to achieve maximum effectiveness of the ATL category. 

  • You deliver on key performance metrics such as the percentage of globally contracted spend, stakeholder satisfaction, cost savings, improved ROI on marketing services, and innovations that have been successfully adopted by the business.



To achieve visible success in this position, you bring the following:


  • An academic level of work and thinking (University degree).

  • A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in a similar commercial/procurement role, consulting position in an FMCG environment, or within creative agencies.

  • Proven expertise in Marketing, agency management, and strategic sourcing.

  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

  • Experience in the effective management of senior stakeholders, including proactive updates and leading workshops for alignment and decision-making.
