In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
Join a multidisciplinary team of highly skilled technical experts working on cutting-edge (automated) test solution projects. These projects span the entire product life cycle, including:
Development: Involving requirements engineering, creating and validating new test methods, developing test strategies, and defining and executing test protocols.
Manufacturing: Focusing on developing manufacturing tests, ensuring product fitness for use, and conducting Measurement System Analyses (MSAs).
Maintenance: Creating remote monitoring solutions, predictive maintenance strategies, conducting test system health checks, and providing crash support.
You will collaborate closely with senior test architects, software architects specializing in automation, and other Test and Verification Engineers from both Philips and our client organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
Create, review, and optimize test designs, reusable test protocols, and procedures to ensure comprehensive functional and non-functional test coverage across multiple projects and products simultaneously.
Develop and execute tests to verify functionality (including performance, reliability, security, and compliance) using a risk-based approach, ensuring alignment with design input requirements, and formally document the results.
Document test plans, protocols, and reports comprehensively.
Review product requirements, designs, and changes from a testing perspective to ensure systems are testable and maintainable, converting requirements into detailed test specifications and tester designs.
Guide the selection of the most effective test design techniques and define acceptance tests for requirement verification, sharing responsibility for project scope, requirements, and risk management.
About the Team:
You will be part of the Test and Verification Engineering team within the Quality & Reliability Engineering department at Philips Innovation Engineering. Our diverse team consists of over 28 technical experts based in Eindhoven (NL), Pune (IN), and Boston (US). With extensive experience in test and verification strategy definition, requirement engineering, and test automation, we support complex, innovative projects for Philips businesses worldwide.
