Freelance Technical Project Manager PCBA (ZZP)

As a Technical Project Manager PCBA your focus will be on coordinating Philips internal PCBA activities. Our internal customers are mostly based in the Netherlands India and US. Work is mostly executed in Eindhoven, The Netherlands and Bangalore, India.

You need to have technical background in electronics, components, and printed circuit boards (PCBA’s). Typically project scope includes (re-)design(s) of new PCBA designs (layout), electronic component selection and library element creation as well as quality reviews and improvements (design for assembly and manufacturability). Our PCBA’s are integrated into the most-advanced medical devices serving a world-wide HealthTech business.

Your main responsibilities, among others, are:

• Support further development and innovation of our PCBA & CM platforms

• Manage platform roll-out and innovation projects

• In-take of new PCBA projects with customers

• Creation of project plans in alignment with the engineering team

• Parallel execution of (multiple (3..4) (small) projects by teams of 2..5 engineers

• Hands-on within project, for example BoM (Bill of Materials) analysis

• Customer communication & status reporting

• Business development and stakeholder management

To succeed in this role you should have:

• BSc / MSc degree in Electrical Engineering

• PMI project management certification (e.g. PMP)

• Competence in the area of PCBA design, electronics assembly and soldering

• Competence in the area of component management, including tools and ways-of-working

• Experience in PCBA design processes and CAD-E Design Environments is a must

• Experience in parallel managing multiple small projects in a technical, dynamic and innovative environment

• Excellent communication skills and stakeholder management on behalf of the group

• Fluent in English, verbal and written

• Pro-active, can-do attitude, team player

• Decisive and entrepreneurial attitude

• Experience with MS Office software (Project, Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
