Freelance Tactical Buyer (ZZP)
In general, the Tactical Turnaround Buyer role characteristics are straightforward on time contracting services, secure supply of goods and services and competitive bidding according procurement business rules. Processes can be very complex, as specification are not always that clear and business pressure might urge for vigorous, but always compliant, actions. Main goal for this role is contracting best value, whilst serving the business needs and delivering a compliant procurement dossier.
Job Purpose & Responsibilities
• Procure local Turnarounds and support EPM related projects
• Manage the Sourcing, Contracting and Procurement of Turnarounds.
• Coordinate the relation of SABIC stakeholders with their (key-) suppliers and optimize conditions both internally and externally.
• Create PO ?50K€ in competition and reaching optimal and commercial conditions to ensure value creation including expediting and correct payment.
• Responsible for value creation.
• Ensure compliance to regional legislation (ie Reach), global standards, requirements, policies and procedures including EHS.
• Execute Vendor Qualification.
• Execute supplier management: achieve high supplier performance, ensure delivery at most profitable conditions in the current market and stimulate continuous improvement.
• Supplier evaluation.
• Manage complaint handling / claims.
• Provide operational support and solve critical procurement problems.
• Connect with Corporate functions like Legal and Insurance.
• Share knowledge of procurement processes and policies with the internal organization. (stakeholders)
Minimum Education/ Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s or master’s Degree (HBO+) in commerce, business administration, engineering or similar.
• Preferred certification in Procurement. (NEVI, CIPS)
• Excellent in process management, project management and negotiating skills.
• 3-5 years’ experience in Procurement, Supply Chain or Customer service.
• Familiarity with manufacturing and materials, preferably a technical background.
• Proven negotiation and analytical skills.
• Capability of professional time management, communicate on progress and escalate if needed.
• Knowledge of procurement procedures, processes, and work methods.
• Knowledge about manufacturing process.
• Proven execution and delivering results capabilities.
• Proven communication & interpersonal competences.
• Analytical Skills.
• Cultural awareness.
• Fluent in English and / or Dutch, verbal and writing.
• ICT Knowledge: Business management systems, ERP-system (SAP) and other dedicated applications and Office systems. (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Extra informatie:
Team samenstelling: Je werkt in het buyer team van de TA organisatie op de site in Geleen, het team bestaat nu uit 5 collega’s en er worden nog 3 extra collega’s geworven. Thuiswerken is mogelijk in overleg maar deze rol wordt primair op site uitgevoerd.
Flexibiliteit qua uren per week: 40 is gevraagd. Tijdens uitvoeringsfase TA wordt er verwacht dat je bereid bent tot overwerk. In de voorbereidingsfase is de planning wat meer flexibel en we overwegen ook kandidaten die 36 uur per week beschikbaar zijn.
Bij voorkeur zoeken we een ervaren tactical buyer die bekend is met het werken in een TA omgeving. SAP kennis is een pre. HBO werk en denkniveau.
