Freelance Site Safety Officer (ZZP)
The site safety officer is responsible to support the site manager on safety rerated topics during the installation and commissioning phase of one of our Warehouse projects in Haps (NL).
Advise the project manager and site manager on local HSE legislation.
Report any accidents and incidents to the customer, the management of Vanderlande and to Vanderlande - HSE via VelocityEHS
Support accident investigation.
Verify if the Site Manager, the Site Supervisor, the HSE Coordinator and all involved subcontractors comply with their tasks as defined in this Section 2.5 of the HSE Plan.
Recognize any high-risk activity showing up and initiate drafting of task risk analysis, method statements and hoisting / lifting plans accordingly.
Coordination of HSE observations (e.g., work area, use of PPE, tools, certification).
Filing of all relevant forms, reports and minutes in the HSE file.
Observation of the site regularly and issuing directions in cases where employees fail to carry out works adequately or in an appropriate way.
Report any accidents and incidents to the Project Manager, customer and the HSE manager via VelocityEHS. Severe injuries should be reported directly to the HSE manager by phone.
Investigate near misses and minor injuries to prevent reoccurrence.
Coordination of/and execution of First Aid/ Fire Response Team activities.
The display of statutory notices and emergency instructions.
Organize toolbox meetings (daily safety instruction – generally conducted prior to commencing the activities).
Requirements
MVK education of equivalent
Dutch and English speaking and writing skills.
