Freelance Siemens - Site manager (ZZP)

Siemens is seeking a qualified and experienced Site Manager to oversee domestic and international construction sites. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and guiding various stakeholders, ensuring adherence to guidelines and procedures, and maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Site Management: Take accountability for the overall management of construction sites, overseeing site administration, and ensuring compliance with performance standards, schedules, and budgets.

• Coordination: Coordinate and guide multiple parties involved in construction projects, including contractors and functional teams, ensuring seamless execution of work.

• Economic Responsibility: Calculate and manage material, personnel, and running contract costs for suppliers, demonstrating a strong understanding of economic factors affecting construction projects.

• Representation: Represent the site in decision-making committees of the project, maintaining effective communication with management, customers, and the project team.

• Risk Assessment: Assess and manage risks and opportunities at the construction site, including economic, organizational, and contractual aspects. Implement change request procedures as necessary.

• Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with standards, regulations, laws, quality, and Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) guidelines.

• Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of 5-25 qualified employees, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.

Candidate Requirements:

• Experience: 8–10 years of experience in heavy industrial sites, demonstrating a strong understanding of the industry and its challenges.

• Communication: Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse cultures and adapt to various work environments.

• Leadership: Proven ability to manage a team, set boundaries, and inspire individuals to achieve common goals. Solution-oriented and creative problem-solving skills are essential.

• Language: Proficiency in English is required. Dutch language skills are not mandatory.

• Independents Welcome: Individuals operating as ZZP are also welcome to apply.

• You have experience in heavy industrial sites for 8–10 years.

• You're a very strong communicator, can cope well with diverse cultures, and you're easy to adapt to new environments

• You're able to, and have experience with, managing a team of 20 people. Not only that, but you are solution oriented, creative and can set boundaries well. You're fluent with the English language.
