Do you want to join a group of global experts, guiding and coaching Philips teams in adopting and embracing advanced Quality Engineering and Reliability methodologies? 



Your team:


The Systems Quality Engineering team is part of the Quality and Reliability Department in Philips Innovation Engineering.


The team is a dynamic group of more than 30 experts in the field of Reliability and Quality engineering. As part of the Q&R service, they have direct access to a broad range of product reliability test, material analyses facilities and experts. All are 6Sigma Green Belts or Black Belts, active in designing or improving reliability of complex, innovative products and processes for Philips business Units located all over the world.



As a system architect your responsibilities will include:


• You will support the developing of training materials for 6sigma and technical problem solving. You will give trainings and

workshops worldwide and you will coach and support engineers across the globe during their path through 6Sigma

• You are an expert of DMAIC and Technical Problem-Solving methodologies and you will lead technical teams in

Business units on how to apply DMAIC and TPS best practices.

• You will work as a consultant,participating to projects where 6Sigma or TPS methodologies need to be applied

• You will liaise with Philips R&D and Industrialization organizations globally, to drive the continuous

improvement of business processes and associated templates

• You will actively ensure the deployment and application of key development activities, e.g. Failure Mode and

Effect Analysis, Risk Management, TPS by training and coaching

• You will participate in related corporate initiatives to improve business process and capability maturity when

required

• You will manage improvement projects to implement sustainable changes

• You will collaborate with global innovation excellence programs and the business and grow a network with relevant stakeholders



MUST HAVES:


• MSc/PhD degree in discipline like Physics, Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering, etc.

• Strong statistical background

• Knowledge and ability to apply concepts in the fields of quality, reliability and problem solving with focus on DMAIC

• Ability to teach and coach, ability to understand the audience and adapt your coaching style from technicians and engineers up to management level

• Track record in application of Quality tools and concepts (e.g. FMEA, Control Plan, APQP, GMP, Design Controls,

quality standards)

• You combine analytical and conceptual thinking, physical insight, flexibility and structured way of working to

deliver sustainable project results

• Communication, change management, consultancy skills through all stakeholders levels within the business,

verbally and in writing

• You are a motivated self-propelling person, with determination to succeed and the ability to manage changes

• Fluent in English

• Willing to travel 10 percent: deliver trainings, onsite support.
