Freelance Senior Project Manager HR & Payroll Integration (ZZP)
ABN AMRO recently acquired a bank in Germany (Hauck Aufhäuser Lampe PrivatBank: HAL in short). HAL delivers bankings services mainly from Germany, but is also present in other countries as well. Mid 2025 the acquisition of HAL needs to be effectuated in our HR and payroll systems, meaning that at that moment all HR systems need to be able to service the HAL colleagues coming over to ABN AMRO Germany in accordance with applicable legislations and policies in our HR IT systems and process landscape.
Currently, the definitive integration scenarios are being developed. The integration of HAL in our HR and payroll systems will be executed in collaboration between the Employee Experience Grid (responsible for global HR and payroll systems), HR experts in our German branch (located in Frankfurt), ADP payroll services and HAL.
We are looking for an experienced project/program manager that will lead the integration of HAL in our HR and payroll systems to ensure operational embedding and compliance of HR services and policies during the integration.
With the following results:
The project end goal is to realize the integration of HAL in our HR and payroll systems so that HR services and data processing can be guaranteed for the new ABN AMRO colleagues coming over from HAL. ABN AMRO uses leading global vendors for HR IT and payroll services: SAP SuccessFactors for Core HR and talent management processes, integrated with ADP Globalview for payroll services. We will re-use these global systems as a baseline for the HAL integration. Main focus is on ensuring core HR and payroll processes are up and running on go-live date, but there is also integration effort foreseen for talent management processes like performance management, recruitment and learning management. For each of these processes subject matter experts, IT experts and process/policy owners are available to redesign processes, reconfigure systems, test and bring live system changes.
We need a project manager that can oversee, plan, communicate and orchestrate these IT changes in collaboration with both ABN AMRO and HAL experts. Main project activities foreseen: data migration, HRIS system (re)config, process redesign, building/changing data integrations, redesign/update of HR Target Operating Model HR Frankfurt, communication to and with stakeholders (possibly also works councils). Within this context of activities and desired outcomes we expect the project manager to do the regular project management activities like:
Setup and maintain an adequate project structure and meetings
Project planning
Orchestrate and assign activities, monitor and report on progress of milestones and deliverables
Stakeholder management and reporting
Risk & dependency management
Escalation management on time-, budget- or quality issues
