Freelance Senior Process Improvement Manager (ZZP)

We are seeking a results-driven Project Architect to lead and manage key initiatives across our core financial processes. This role is instrumental in ensuring that our Record-to-Report (R2R), Lead-to-Cash (L2C), and Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes are optimized for efficiency and compliance with tax, legal, and statutory requirements globally. You will collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Global Process Owners (GPOs) to drive impactful financial transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategic projects across R2R, L2C, and P2P processes to enhance performance and compliance.

• Ensure processes align with tax, legal, and statutory standards across all geographies.

• Provide direction and expertise to SMEs, resolving challenges and guiding solutions.

• Collaborate with GPOs to align initiatives with organizational priorities.

• Troubleshoot issues, deliver actionable insights, and ensure project milestones are met.

• Operate independently to manage projects, ensuring alignment with business goals.

Reporting Structure

This role reports directly to the Global Process Owner (GPO) for R2R and provides regular updates to all relevant GPOs on project progress.

Requirements:

• Proven expertise in financial processes and compliance, with a hands-on approach to solution design.

• Ability to navigate complex challenges and deliver practical, strategic solutions.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams.

• Experience supporting project delivery in dynamic, fast-paced environments.

• Demonstrated ability to take ownership and operate independently.

• Expertise in Financial Processes (R2R, L2C, P2P): Deep knowledge of financial processes and the ability to ensure tax, legal, and statutory compliance across global operations.

• Content-Driven Project Architect: Proven ability to take a hands-on approach in designing solutions, troubleshooting complex challenges, and guiding SMEs when needed.

• Strong Stakeholder Collaboration and Reporting:

• Experience in aligning with GPOs, providing regular progress updates, and driving key initiatives independently while managing cross-functional teams.
