Freelance Senior Demand Manager (ZZP)

The Ingredients business group focuses on high-end nutritional products and solutions for all life stages. The organization is divided into two market segments:

Early Life & Cell Nutrition, focusing on ingredients for infant nutrition and research in the area of cell nutrition, and

Adult Nutrition, with subsegments focusing on Performance Nutrition, Active Nutrition and Medical Nutrition.

Our ingredients are mainly developed and produced for Business-to-Business purposes. This means that we deliver ingredients and semi-finished products to our external customers, for them to use in their end products and sell them to consumers all over the world, depending on the specific market segment.

Short Description

In the Demand Management team of FCI we are looking for a Senior Demand Manager. As a Demand Manager you are making sure our customers are serviced with right product availability on-time in full. If you have a action and result driven mindset and love to be the linking pin between our FCI customer connectivity teams and our S&OP team, then you are the one we are looking for!

Vacancy Description

You will be responsible for:

-Prepare consolidated sales volumes overview

-Ensure market and commercial priorities are appropriately reflected in the S&OP plans

-Liaise with Commercial director, Regional Demand Planners and Demand & Goods Movement Managers to drive commercial priorities and manage product allocation

-Drive process in case of quick operational decision making is required to (re-) allocate products in case of short term demand or supply changes

-Focus: operational demand changes in the tactical horizon (M-1 and M-2)

-Improve sales forecasting accuracy and sales forecasting processes with Sales Regions and customers.

-Support inventory management for obsolete and restricted stock by sell-out action plans where needed

-Support the process to develop towards IBP, moving from volume/coverage optimized business model to a fully optimized business model driven by financials

Knowledge:

·     Demand management & Sales forecasting processes

·     S&OP processes and systems (SAP/APO/PBI)

·     Understanding BtB Ingredients market and its customers, as well as complex supply chain structures, preferably in the dairy industry

·     Fluent in English and Dutch
