Freelance Senior Business Analyst Regulatory Reporting (ZZP)
Job Description:
As a senior Regulatory Reporting Business Developer, you will play a pivotal role in delivering changes and operational control improvements. You will gather and document business requirements and collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Risk, Operations, vendors, and developers to design and implement compliant solutions. Your work will involve performing root cause investigations, documenting the requirements, performing UAT testing and providing post-release support to the BAU team.
This is a great opportunity to work within a dynamic team ensuring completeness, accuracy and timeliness for their transaction reports in an ever-changing regulatory environment. The role will require working with various stakeholders split across various department.
Key Responsibilities:
As a Business Developer, within regulatory reporting, you will be responsible for:
Requirement gathering, analysing and synthesising information through interaction with stakeholders
Analysing complex reporting data specifications to understand how each field is populated, transformed and validated i.e RTS, ITS, Best Practices and Q&A’s
Supporting and executing user acceptance testing (UAT) by writing and executing test cases, refining user stories and aligning with testers, developers, product owner and other business developers.
Performing post go-live checks ensuring changes released to production remediate and resolve reporting issues.
Taking regulatory and business requirements and translating these into functional requirements
Performing the investigation and resolution of inaccurate and incomplete reports.
Assist with the identification and implementation of automation opportunities to help streamline and simplify processes
Requirements:
At least 5 years of experience within financial services as a business analyst covering derivative products and their trade lifecycle events, with knowledge of transaction regulatory reporting requirements for EMIR.
Proficiency in engaging, collaborating, and communicating with both business and technical peers across offices and time zones.
Self-starter who is proactive, and results driven
Have an interest in data and regulatory reporting and have excellent communication skills.
Understanding of financial instruments and derivative product lifecycles
Knowledge in SQL & XML.
Highly effective written & oral communication skills
