Freelance Senior Analytics Engineer (ZZP)

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Analytics Engineer to temporarily strengthen their Analytics Engineering team. The team is focused on accelerating the development of the data infrastructure and the standardization of business-wide metrics, with a specific emphasis on measurement data, one of the company’s key priorities for H2.

The candidate will join a team of 12 analytics engineers led by an engineering manager, working in close collaboration with data analysts and data stewards across multiple domains.

The external engineer will be expected to:

• Design, build, and maintain robust dbt models

• Develop and manage scalable data pipelines using Airflow and Python

• Align metric definitions with analysts and data stewards

• Work with GIT and write efficient, well-structured SQL

• Contribute to scalable and well-documented data architecture

• Ensure collaboration and communication across domains

Eisen

• 5+ years of relevant experience in analytics/data engineering roles

• Strong hands-on experience with: dbt, SQL, Python, GIT, Airflow

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills — a social engineer who thrives in collaborative environments

• Proactive, structured, and detail-oriented

• Experience with metric standardization is a plus
