We’re looking for a Portfolio Manager with a minimum of 5 years’ experience (more is welcome) in marketing and project management, to lead marketing projects (portfolio, innovations, activations, etc.) for our Chocolate brands (M&M’s, Maltesers, and others) within the Benelux/ITR cluster. Minimum 5 years of experience in brand management, marketing execution, and project management, with a proven track record in managing portfolio and activation initiatives. This is a 4-month temporary role to cover a maternity leave.



Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and deliver the brand growth strategy and priorities, collaborating with the Regional Cell team to provide input and ensure fit-for-purpose growth platforms.

  • Localize the regional cell/brand agenda to meet local consumer and customer needs.

  • Initiate and lead local portfolio initiatives, where relevant.

  • Drive projects from strategy to execution, managing portfolio and activation initiatives through cross-functional teams (including Regional, Customer Marketing, Activity Management, and Sales).

  • Oversee project timelines, ensuring coordination and alignment with internal and external stakeholders.



Budget & Resource Management:


  • Ensure all marketing initiatives are delivered within budget, optimizing resources for cost-effectiveness.

  • Oversee purchase orders (POs), invoices, and administrative tasks within the role’s scope.

  • Master’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in brand management, marketing execution, and project management, with a proven track record in managing portfolio and activation initiatives.

  • Experience in FMCG is essential; experience in food is an advantage.

  • Fluent in Dutch and English (both required); French is a plus.

  • Highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint.
