Job description

Yacht Life Sciences has a vacancy for a Manufacturing EHS Specialist to work at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in Leiden (the Netherlands).  We are looking for an EHS specialist with a quality mind who likes to interact with people, sees problems as opportunities and gets energized by improving EHS processes. This to ensure (environmental) compliance in a way that the related EHS risks and opportunities within the organization maintain controlled. Responsibilities:

• Ensure delivery of the hard services is compliant to EHS&S and Quality standards

• Security systems like Fire safety, CCTV, Access Control and Burglary

• Utilities and systems like Steam, Potable water, Sewer

• Day to Day preventive and corrective maintenance on mentioned systems

• Act as a chapter owner Fire & Explosion

• Monitor operational budgets for both internal and contracted resources; monitor operational performance of service providers

• Support Project Development and Delivery teams on capital and infrastructure projects

• Support the J&J Leiden Campus in the site-level deployment of enterprise Facilities programs

• Initiate maintenance strategies for new equipment

• Maintain site-level customer relationships with peers from Operations, Quality, Maintenance and Engineering, understand their expectations and translate them into business service solutions

Job requirements

• Bachelor or Master in a technical or Facilities Management field of expertise

• >3 years work experience in similar field and/or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Strong focus and technical skills on EHS&S and GMP Quality

• Experience with the International Management System Standards ISO14001 and ISO45001

• An additional course Safety Manager level 3 (“HVK”) or comparable can lead to a preference

• Dutch and English in speaking and writing
