Location: Hybrid 50/50 offices between Gorinchem/Amsterdam

Manage the overall accounting process for Corbion EMEA,  establish timely, accurate, complete and reliable processing and reporting of the financial results for Corbion entities.

About you:

• Manage the GL teams for EMEA. Build, educate and motivate the accounting teams;

• Ensure timely and accurate reporting for all EMEA entities. Ensure reporting is according to Corbion accounting policy and local GAAP. Validate and accurately prepare specifications to balance sheet and P&L accounts;

• Ensure harmonization of financial reporting and accounting processes. Contribute to a wide range of ledger accounting topics in compliance with IFRS for Corbion EMEA entities, like accounting of accruals, intercompany positions, fixed and intangible assets;

• Lead and optimize the financial accounting process in the most efficient way. Key user of SAP 4/hana and drive process improvements within SAP and the GL processes;

• Ensure compliance towards financial audits, control framework and tax audits. Ensure compliance with Corbion transfer price policy. Ensure adherence to Corbion’s Transfer Pricing Policy and monitor the Corbion Intercompany Model

• Participate in accounting Group projects;

• Communicate to and align with internal stakeholders (business controllers, operations, Manager AP etc.) and external stakeholders (auditors). Support Sales and Operations with various detailed business analysis;

• Sparring partner and back-up support for the Finance Director EMEA and cooperate closely with Senior Financial Manager Bioquimica.

Requirements:

• (Post)master degree in Accounting and/or Auditing;

• 5-7 years of financial accounting experience;

• Working knowledge of regulations related to Transfer Pricing;

• Strong knowledge of design, execution and verification of administrative processes;

• Experience with production accounting;

• Strong analytical skills;

• Strong affinity with IT (ERP);

• Strong affinity with auditing;

• Strong knowlegde of IFRS;

• Able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing;

• Fluent in English.
