Freelance Global Treasury Control & Reporting Analyst (ZZP)

Job Purpose/Overview:

The Global Treasury Operations (GTO) processes large amounts of cash on daily basis and performs a variety of risk management activities. Governance and control over these activities is essential to avoid business risks and/or financial losses for Mars Inc.

Context and Scope:

Our team is responsible for a wide variety of Treasury activities across the globe. For example, we operate a Global In-House Bank and pay the majority of our suppliers worldwide. We also run our global Inter-Company Netting program and various working capital financing programs. Innovations and continuous improvement are in our DNA and with the help of new digital tools we ensure we stay up to date and remain very efficient. As Global Treasury Control & Reporting Analyst you will be focusing on good Treasury governance world-wide. Reporting is another focus point using digital reporting tools to create high-quality value-added reports which you will share to various stakeholders including senior management. Participating in or even leading projects will also be part of your activities.

Key responsibilities are, but not limited to:

• Power Platform (i.e. Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate) support (e.g. resolving issues, making updates, optimizing visuals)

• Assist in the management of intercompany loans, ensuring completeness of loan documentation and potential to manage the global period-end closing process

• Preparation of quarterly interest forecast in collaboration with Tax

• Idle cash analysis including follow-up with ICTCs

• Internal control self-testing coordination for Global Treasury

• Reviewing manual payments ensuring accurate processing

• Integration of acquired businesses in various reporting systems

• Projects: integration of daily cash positioning and cash forecasting in one Power BI, Quantum Cash (new daily cash positioning system)

Skills and requirements:

• Accounting

• Advanced Power Platform experience (i.e. creating flows in Power Automate, creating apps with Power Apps, creating Power BI dashboards)

• English (written and verbal)

• Pro-active, enthusiastic, informal, perseverant, trustworthy, independent team-player

• Treasury experience is an advantage

• Knowledge of SAP is an advantage

Education:

• Academic degree or a Bachelor degree in finance / business economics

• 3-5 years of financial experience
