Vanderlande is currently going through a transformation to ensure sustainable profitable growth. Under the new CEO, the Vanderlande Board of Management has recently introduced ‘BACK TO BASICS’ and “CUSTOMER OBSESSED” as key themes, which we aim to apply when selling, delivering, servicing and innovating our automated material handling solutions for our customers.
In addition there is a clear belief people make the difference in all we do and as such an explicit focus on building a so called high performance culture (HPC) and embed this in ‘all we do’. To support this transformation the Talent & Learning CoE contribution is critical and we seek interim support to drive this strategic agenda successfully forward.
Vanderlande has made considerable investments over recent years in the development of our leaders to drive the right mindsets and behaviours, however we have more work to do to ensure that mindsets & behaviours are integrated in our daily lives to drive employee engagement and ultimately customer satisfaction. In the next phase of the transformation we will we embark on reviewing our core values, HPC behaviours and future fit leadership requirements to ensure they are launched to the organisation in an consistent and integrated approach.
Key Responsibilities:
Define tangible core values and behaviours as carriers of our culture. Embed in our core HR, People and Business processes, driving ‘leader lead, employee owned, HR enabled’.
Support the empowerment of all employees to take ownership and accountability for performance and growth of self, team and organization at large (PDP, Mid- reviews, annual appraisals)
Support the integration of competencies/ skills into key talent processes
Partner with the learning organisation to build capabilities for our core people processes (talent identification, succession planning, performance etc)
Partner with the HR technology team to deliver the technology roadmap.
Drive change and communication across all key projects through active stakeholder engagement and involvement.

Proven ability to drive a positive and high-performing organizational culture in a direct and matrixed environment aligning global HR strategies with regional/local needs.
Strong consultative skills, influencing skills, and cross-cultural competence to work collaboratively across a complex organization
Strong project management skills as key enabler to drive complex projects in a structured and predictable manner to success
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Successful implementation of strategic talent management initiatives, including impactful and scalable talent development interventions and succession planning programs for key roles
Flexibility to adjust in a dynamic and changing environment
