The Global Commodity & Procurement Controller primary responsibilities include, providing insightful finance analysis and collaborating with procurement in reaching their financial objectives. The Global Commodity &
Procurement Controller is in a key position within Corbion with exposure to top management. The ideal candidate is a hands-on “go-getter” and a business partner who is highly proactive and accustomed to successfully partnering with leadership.
As the Global Commodity & Procurement Controller, you will be responsible for:
Strong Finance support to the VP Procurement (provide insight in raw material developments and translate this to the rest of the business, fixed costs of our global Procurement team, support during acquisitions, investigate new hedge opportunities and other ad hoc questions)
Providing in depth insight in current and future variable cost price development (raw material, sourcing and other) to Marketing & Sales, Operations and Finance to support decision making
Support in sorting out hedging possibilities for our ETS rights, Gas Thailand and Energy US
Responsible for accurate and timely Financial Reporting of our hedge accounting in compliance with IFRS accounting rules (hedge documentation, accounting in accordance with IFRS, approval of hedge contracts in line with policy, effectiveness test).
Job requirements
Financial Education (University degree) joined with strong analytical and communication skills.
Affinity with systems (e.g. ERP preferably SAP, SAP Analytical Cloud SAC (BI), Advanced Excel skills).
Excellent skills in English speaking & writing.
