Role Overview

The Wolters Kluwer Digital Experience Group is looking for a Financial Controller to our dynamic team. In this role you will oversee the financial operations of our organization, ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting and providing insightful analysis. You will possess a strong understanding of IFRS, CAPEX, and innovation box accounting principles, along with a proven track record in process optimization and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform month end and year end accounting activities such as account reconciliations provision and accrual journal entries.

• Managing, performing, and monitoring the key accounting processes of the organization.

• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting according to company policies.

• Provide assistance and guidance to the corporate accounting team as required.

• Managing and performing the software development capitalization and depreciation process and the report to stakeholders on the CAPEX Status

• Timely reporting on the financial performance of de company, both for management purposes as well as for group reporting purposes

• Participate in internal and external audits of the organization books.

• Key user of PBCS 

Who We Are Looking For:

• Completed Bachelor or Master degree in the field of Accountancy or Economics.

• Experience as a financial controller in a multinational company

• Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience

• Experience with IFRS, CAPEX, intercompany accounting and consolidation

• Experience with SAP and other ERP systems
