Job Description:
Yacht Life Sciences has a vacancy for a (freelance) Engineer /Repair & Maintenance to work at Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in Leiden.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Administers equipment maintenance methods based on proven research for the Repair & Maintenance Engineering team.
Applies practical skills of the field to complete tasks that minimize equipment failure risks and enable peak performance of machinery.
Under minimal supervision, contributes to engineering repair projects and maintenance programs that optimize the performance and reliability of the organization's capital equipment investments.
Works to achieve day-to-day objectives with moderate impact on the organization's manufacturing machinery and production equipment.
Coordinates maintenance programs and complex repair projects that improve production efficiencies by ensuring the reliability, performance, and accuracy of manufacturing facilities and capital equipment investments.
Besides that:
Contributes to the achievement of departmental goals by monitoring cost-effective, performance-based maintenance programs, leading engineering repair projects, and integrating testing procedures that minimize equipment failure risks.
Conducts routine machinery tests and evaluations of operational control standards to ensure conformance with engineering specifications and compliance with safety regulations.
Examines technical reports, technical memoranda, and other documents regarding equipment specifications, maintenance, and troubleshooting to identify opportunities to improve outcomes.
Coaches more junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities.
Understands and applies Johnson & Johnson’s Credo and Leadership Imperatives in day-to-day interactions with team.
Job requirements:
BSc/HBO (or equivalent) or Master’s degree in bioscience, biotechnology, biochemistry, pharmacy biomedicine, process technology, Engineering or Technical subject
> 4 years of relevant experience in the (bio)pharmaceutical industry or related experience/education is required.
Experience with equipment maintenance methods
Experience with machinery tests and evaluations of operational control standards
Experience with GMP and Quality Compliance
