Freelance DevOps Engineer Product Catalog/ Scala Backend Developer (ZZP)

Where:

We work hybrid, where we meet at our office in Amsterdam Sloterdijk. We use our office workdays for the regular scrum events (review, refinement, etc…) and creative brainstorms.

Team:

We are a team with currently 3 backend developers, a front end developer, a Product Owner and a Scrum Master.

We are looking for:

• Several years of working experience with Scala to demonstrate a certain level of maturity

• Experience with Akka HTTP, Akka persistence

• Experience with Stream processing

• Experience with Event sourcing is highly preferable

• ElasticSearch, Postgres SQL or similar SQL databases like MySQL

• Good to have experience with Cats, Cats effect, ZIO library or open to learn

• Unit testing and Integration testing

• Good to have Cypress for E2E testing

• Strong team player with Product development

• Knowledge of DevOps, Docker-Container, CI/CD, and Git

• Knowledge of Grafana, Loki or similar monitoring tools like Datadog, NewRelic is a plus

• Experience working with Agile, Scrum or eager to learn Agile Way of Working

• Experience with application design & implementation, and workflow design
