Freelance Contract and Claim Manager (ZZP)
Job description
Contract Management
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring alignment with project objectives and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor contract performance, compliance, and deliverables throughout the project lifecycle.
- Identify and address potential contractual issues to minimize risks and deviations.
Claim Management
- Proactively manage claims and disputes arising during project execution.
- Investigate and analyse claims to determine validity, assessing their impact on project timelines and budget.
- Support in identifying claims towards external parties including the accurate and comprehensive documentation thereof
- Develop and implement strategies for claim resolution, including negotiation and alternative dispute resolution methods.
Risk Mitigation
- Identify, assess, and mitigate contractual and project risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement risk mitigation strategies and ensure project success.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of all contractual agreements, claims, and dispute resolutions.
- Prepare regular reports for project stakeholders, highlighting contract and claim status.
Stakeholder Communication
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure a clear understanding of contract terms and conditions.
- Facilitate effective communication to resolve issues and maintain strong working relationships.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Law, Engineering, or a related field with a high affinition for contractual and legal topics.
Proven experience in contract management and claims resolution within the industrial project sector.
Strong understanding of legal and regulatory frameworks related to industrial projects.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
Fluent in Business French and English
Experience in public procurement law in Algeria – not mandatory
