As Brand Controller you are financially responsible for some of our leading brands in the Dutch market (Optimel and Campina). Your main responsibilities will be to provide strategic insights and financial analyses, and to drive the execution for our brand teams. As financial you will be part of multiple brand teams which have full P&L responsibility. Within this role you will be closely cooperating with the brand teams, marketing and trade marketing, where you lead the budget process, work on long-term plans and drive a wide diversity of business cases.

Vacancy description


•    You will be financially responsible for some of our leading brands, Optimel and Campina. In doing so, you will be focused on multiple stakeholders within Consumer Dairy Netherlands and diverse business dynamics. You are both part of the CDNL finance team, as well as of various multi-disciplinary brand teams.


•    You will be working closely, but not limited to, the brand teams. They need to see you as the financial guide to make the right decisions. You will also challenge them based on your own analysis. Next to this you are an advisor to the CD NL management team. Within the role you manage monthly business reviews, and manage and improve the management reporting (part of the month end close process) to create good business insights and manage/steer our performance.

Some of the key activities are:


•    Contribute to yearly Integrated Commercial Plan

•    Manage full brand P&Ls

•    Analyze brand performance

•    Prepare business cases for NPDs, CAPEX or Make/Buy decisions

•    Understand how milk impacts our profitability

•    Manage the budget process from brand perspective

•    Understand what is driving our results

•    You have very strong analytical and financial skills, and have knowledge of Micro Strategy, BW, SAP and visual fabriq

•    You are familiar and have experience with the Dutch retail landscape

Experience


•    Master's or Bachelor's degree in Business Economics, Financial Accounting or equivalent

•    A minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Management Accounting, Business Control and Financial Planning & Analysis, ideally gained in multinational organization(s) in FMCG

•    Experience in business partnering to sales & marketing functions to offer support, a positive critical view and daring to challenge in budget decision making
